STORY BASE LINE
Kaiju No. 8 is an electrifying Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Naoya Matsumoto. It is set in a world where massive, destructive monsters called kaiju regularly terrorize cities, and a dedicated Defense Force exists to combat them. The story introduces readers to a unique blend of action, dark humor, and emotional depth, all centered around the theme of transformation and defying societal limits.
Kaiju No. 8 is a thrill and adventures manga series that blends action, humor and emotional storytelling which is more relatable and life changing stories. The story follows KAFKA HIBINO, a man working in kaiju cleanup crew who dreams to join in DEFENSE FORCE OF KAIJU to save the people. But his life takes a dramatic turn or life changing moment when he transforms into a kaiju himself, even though he gains more powers. This transformation created the journey of delf discovery, battling inner mind, and facing societal expectations.
MY OPINION
HOW I STARTED THIS SERIES?
I started this as my first manga, I know there are many best manga to read but before this I watched a kaiju no 8 series and I really liked it. So, I can't be able to wait till the next episode to come then I had some recommendation from my friend to read manga I started to read. As this was my first time reading, I learnt many new things that how to read manga and also this was beginner friendly, must recommend for those who are starting to read manga. It's a 200(approx.) chapters it will go in a interesting way you won't like to stop reading. Anyways it's my opinion and you can send me your personal feelings and share your emotions in comment.

MY FAVORITE CHARACTER AND WHY?
Vice Commander Soshiro Hoshina is a fascinating character in Kaiju No. 8, known for his laid-back demeanor and exceptional swordsmanship. As the Third Division's vice-captain, he is renowned for his close-quarters combat skills, earning the title of "The Defense Force's Strongest Close-Quarters Combatant." Despite his jovial personality, Hoshina has a serious side that emerges during critical moments, showcasing his unwavering dedication to protecting humanity from kaiju threats.
Hoshina's combat prowess is unmatched, with his mastery of sword techniques honed since childhood. He wields specialized weapons, including the Numbers Weapon 10, a combat suit crafted from Kaiju No. 10's body, which enhances his abilities. His character also reflects a deep sense of responsibility and loyalty, making him a key figure in the Defense Force.
SOUNDTRACK
